Après avoir exploré le monde de l’architecture d’intérieur et du design d’édition, Hugo Danneels et Julie Figueroa Zafiro fondent en 2021 leur atelier d’artisanat d’art et studio de création spécialisé dans l’ébénisterie.

La rencontre du bois et du feu est leur premier émoi d’artisan, écailles, craquelures, charbon, noir profond, la transformation extrême de la matière par le feu et la volonté de figer cette métamorphose est un continuel terrain de jeu et d’émerveillement. 

Aujourd’hui, le dialogue des matières guide leurs explorations : créer des combinaisons qui éveillent l’émotion et cherchent à ouvrir un chemin poétique, invitant à une déambulation contemplative et tactile où les contrastes révèlent la singularité de chaque matériau.

After exploring the world of interior architecture and design, Hugo Danneels and Julie Figueroa Zafiro founded their craft workshop and creative studio in 2021, specializing in furniture-making.

The meeting of wood and fire is their first artisan thrill—scales, cracks, charcoal, deep black—the extreme transformation of the material by fire and the desire to freeze this metamorphosis is a constant playground of wonder and fascination.

Today, the dialogue of materials guides their explorations: creating combinations that evoke emotion and seek to open a poetic path, inviting a contemplative and tactile journey where contrasts reveal the singularity of each material.
